Use Gmail OAuth to scan the last 90 days of receipts and surface subscriptions you forgot you had.
Honest truth: most of us can't name every active subscription. App Store, Google Play, direct web subscriptions… they live in different places. They share one thing: receipt emails.
The fix: classify mail without reading it
SubGuard connects to Gmail with read-only scope (mail.readonly). It parses receipt emails on your device, recognizes known subscription senders, and extracts service, amount and cycle.
The flow
- Add Account → Connect with Google.
- Standard Google OAuth screen; only mail.readonly is requested.
- Scan starts (typically 30–60 sec).
- Review items tagged ‘review' for low confidence matches.
- Pick the ones to add → ‘Import subscription'.
Privacy
Non-receipt emails are never read. Cards, personal threads, attachments — nothing is analyzed. Disconnect anytime in one tap.
